Where: University of Cyprus, Nicosia

European Academics and Energy Sector experts participate to discuss about the operational and functional needs of Energy Communities, a concept driven by the ‘Clean Energy for all Europeans’ package.  Besides the regulatory and policy framework, best practices from selected national and European projects will be presented.  In this context, Chris Caerts (VITO) will present the FHP project approach and concept in “Empowered Energy Communities enabled by Flexibility Trading and Dynamic Coalition Managers” as a novel way to empower prosumers in taking up an active role in support of the energy transition.
